Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders’ (BCYL) affectionately known as Caribe, established in 2003 as a grassroots youth development organization. BCYL serves nearly 700 youth yearly from ages 5 to 18 via enrichment programs and activities under their Sports, Education and Community platforms.

The Bridgeport Regional Business Council’s (BRBC) mission is to increase the economic opportunities for the people of the Bridgeport Region by acting to create an environment for business expansion, retention, and recruitment that will result in jobs and tax base growth. The BRBC is an advocate for their members and the business community at large in the halls of government, and fosters business growth via the delivery of networking, professional development, and marketing opportunities to members and the overall business community.

The mission of Hall Neighborhood House is to provide comprehensive services that educate, enrich, and empower residents of all ages on the East Side of Bridgeport and the surrounding community. From childcare and preschool for infants and children to after school programs and summer camp for youth to daily activities for seniors, Hall Neighborhood House has something for everyone.

Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has a proud history of over 90 years as Connecticut’s only Zoo. Beardsley Zoo is committed to the preservation of endangered animals and is actively developing strategies that will protect species and preserve their wild habitats. Through education, conservation, research and recreation, Beardsley provides a wonderfully wild experience for students and families.

The Greater Bridgeport NAACP Branch is committed to advocating for smarter, results-based criminal justice policies to keep communities safe, economic development and ensuring that all students have access to an equal and high-quality public education.

EAST END NRZ MARKET & CAFE
The East End NRZ Market & Café in Bridgeport provides residents with an opportunity to purchase fresh, local produce that will combat the issue of unhealthy lifestyles that accompany the low-income community in which it resides. Aside from providing job opportunities and serving as a local gathering place, the Café is also host to a number of programs including healthy lifestyle programs, dietary management services, BPT-OIC job training, and violence prevention & mentoring programs.
